This includes 90+ episodes of Dangerous Assignment (1949 and 1950-53) with proper names for the episodes. Also, it's been a common practice to "pad" the episodes of Dangerous Assignment by adding dead air to the end of the recording so that the episode is 32 minutes in length. All such padding has been removed. Episode names obtained from the Digital Deli: http://www.digitaldeliftp.com/DigitalDeliToo/dd2jb-Dangerous-Assignment.html

Shotgun Slade is a private detective in the Old West who totes a combination rifle/shotgun. This detective style TV western was unique due to its jazz-style musical theme. A rancher is murdered after selling his herd for $20,000 and Slade is shocked when the investigation leads to his fiancee. www.westernmania.com

"Rocky King, Detective" aired on the short-lived DuMont Television Network from 1950 to 1954. The show was done live on a low-budget, and the show had several quirks. Most of the episodes are believed lost, But perhaps as many as 37 survive. The show never entered the top 30 in the ratings, and is now considered to be a "Cult Classic". This episode is called "The Hermit's Cat" This episode originally aired 31 August 1952.
